Now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whichcar.com.au\/news\/vfacts-september-2022-4x4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">topping the sales charts in September<\/a> and storming past the Hilux as Australia\u2019s most popular 4&#215;4, there were 4381 sales of Ford Rangers for the month &#8211; a figure that\u2019s a good 20% higher than Hilux sales for the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its 17th year of production, it\u2019s looking as though the Ford Ranger will finally surpass the previously unassailable Toyota Hilux as Australia\u2019s favourite ute. Hit the top of the range and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ford.com.au\/showroom\/future-vehicle\/next-gen-ranger\/raptor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ranger Raptor<\/a> is powered by a 292kW\/583Nm, 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine with full-time four-wheel drive, complemented by a 10-speed automatic transmission.
