Customer Purchase Terms and Conditions

  1. When you pay the holding deposit for a vehicle, you will secure availability of the car for 48 hours.
  2. If you wish to buy a used car from Carbar Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 612 049 260) of 20 Woodruff St, Port Melbourne VIC 3207 ( "carbar" , "we" , "us" or "our" ) you may do so by entering into a separate online or offline contract of sale with us within 48 hours of paying the holding deposit.
  3. If you enter into an online or offline contract of sale with us, this holding deposit will be the Holding Deposit for the purposes of those contracts and will be credited towards the overall purchase price of the car. If you do not sign an offline or online contract with us within 48 hours of paying the holding deposit, then we will return the holding deposit to you.
  4. When you enter into an online contract of sale with us, you will receive additional benefits from us that would not be the case if you enter into an offline contract with us. These additional benefits* which are available through an online purchase are:
    1. A seven (7) day money back guarantee - if you are not satisfied with the car, we will offer you a full refund within seven (7) days of you taking possession of the car.
    2. Twelve (12) month warranty^ - every car which is purchased through an online contract comes with a 12-month warranty. There are financial limits that apply to the repair costs for each claim you make for damage within the first year from you signing the online contract of sale.

* Terms and Conditions apply to these benefits and they will be governed by the online contract of sale.

^ Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
